Our Mission

BAFK makes gift awards to encourage local programs and help them financially. Our purpose is to ensure that a variety of art and recreation are available to children and young people for discovery and participation. The awards are designed with a spirit of promoting and helping valuable, innovative projects keep positive momentum on the way to growth and success.

BAFK donors appreciate that their support helps a variety of programs. We help a range of projects from recreational field trips to programs teaching young people how to connect experiences that may lead to a career in business, theater, farming or culinary arts. Our gifting can help these programs get through immediate and short-range financial hurdles on their way to developing more comprehensive goals and opportunities.

As a donor you can be happy to know that our recipients need not be a registered nonprofit to receive funding. BAFK recognizes that for many in need, time is crucial. We are structured to minimize red tape so we can respond as quickly as possible.

If you know a program that we should be aware of, please contact us. And your support is as important. Thank you.
